Back at WildFlour Cafe and Bakery

Salted Black Sesame Latte from WildFlour

I am glad to have the opportunity to go back to one of my fave places to go to with my sister who lives in Manila- WildFlour Cafe and Bakery, a world-class restaurant business that opened in 2012 in the Philippines. Kudos to the owners and chefs who seem to be really running it well that they actually have more than 10 branches in the Philippines.

The best thing I like about this place is that they offer food or drink that you will not find ordinarily in any other restaurant or bistro. I visited the Philippines for the past few years and my sister introduced me to it about 4 years ago when I stayed overnight in Manila. And since then, I am hooked to their kind of restaurant/cafe/bakery and its vibe. Every time I have an overnight stay in Manila, my sister and I would go to a Wild Flour branch and it's either I crave for some previous dish I ordered or  I would try out something new on their menu.

On my most recent visit about a week ago, I salivated just eyeing Beef Brisket Kimchi Fried Rice on their menu. I also ordered their Salted Black Sesame Latte and for dessert, the bibingka cheesecake. My sister ordered the Chicken Avocado Sandwich. And they did not disappoint.

They are pretty busy when we went there but the staff were always gracious and quick. From the perspective of one satisfied customer, WildFlour has found the recipe for success: (1.) Hire a great team (2.) Offer food that you will not find somewhere else (3.) Use fresh and excellent quality ingredients. 4.) Offer adequate serving of food (6.)  Innovate  (7.) Keep all areas clean including bathrooms (8.) Create an ambiance where friends would have great conversations.

Looking forward to my next visit again!
