"If you'll never try, you'll never know"- Virginia Romero

Visiting my home country, I had a great opportunity to spend time with family. It was my last day in Manila and my sister showed me one of her favorite cafe to go in Makati, Philippines named Wild Flour Cafe and Bakery

Every few times, I always opt to try out something new, whether it be as magnifying as learning a skill, going to a new place or just trying out a new flavor. So I did- try out this new place and try out a new flavor.

Out of their vast and colorful displays of croissant, breads and pastries, I was drawn to this green top colored cronut. I found out this was calamansi flavor, which explains the green top colored cream. The lime fruit in the United States or Mexico is the counterpart for calamansi. I always get amazed by new establishments finding creative ways to use Philippine grown fruits and flavors.

Well, this pastry did not disappoint my sister and myself. Calamansi cream rightfully balanced the sweetness of the pastry. All the more reason that we have thoroughly enjoyed our time in the Cafe. That's the gift of a well run cafe or any establishment- they become part of people's lives in making good memories.

Thank you Wild Flour! Kudos to the crew as well for making us feel at home! I hope to visit again!
