This is quite a coffee bar in itself with its aesthetics. Visually outside, it may not look inviting. I was having second thoughts about coming in but brushed that thought aside.

As I was coming in, I saw greeting cards on display by their window. So I thought, mmm coffee bar and greeting cards? This might be an interesting visit…

They have a whole merchandise of various items ranging from shirts, mugs, books, and journals with the local town name stamped on some of them. I then looked up at their menu. But decided to order a flat white. The barista was well-mannered and was pretty welcoming and accommodating. I sat by the bench fronting the coffee bar itself and looked around.

I browsed thru their website and Instagram page and found how involved they seem to be with the community. Pictures of events that have happened in the store such as music shows, flower, and art displays were quite impressive. It shows how they seem to be involved in the community. One barista said they have been in business for 5-6 years.

They have a quirky room where you will enter a spacious area, with sufficient light coming thru the display windows. Interestingly, they have used even antique sewing machines as tables set by the display windows. So I did get a chance to sit by the display windows. That feeling there inspired me to just pursue writing about my visits to the café.

Truly, I am amazed by how coffee bar owners conceptualize their business. I hope that they’ll add that information to their website. The story behind how a coffee shop was created can make someone like me even more enticed to check it out myself.

Thank you Scout’s coffee bar for a different experience.
